His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, visited the corner of the National Archives at the platform of the Ministry of Education, and was briefed on his participation in the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority in its eleventh edition, under the slogan "Explore Knowledge".
His Highness listened to a detailed explanation of the "Inspirational Stories" initiative launched by the National Archives in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, which would consolidate the values of goodness and human giving and enhance positivity among students.
His Highness accepted the publications that resulted from the "Zayed Initiative: 100 Stories", which was organized and sponsored by the National Archives with the participation of the Ministry of Education, which provided generations with some of the values and exploits of the late - God willing - Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
His Highness praised the two initiatives and their national goals, and the interest they provide to students in historical scientific research and the impact and patriotism they leave in them. His Highness wished the National Archives and the Ministry of Education success in the good endeavors they are making for the sake of national upbringing for generations.
The National Archives takes advantage of its participation in the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival to present the "Inspirational Stories" initiative, which it launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, in front of the festival's audience during the festival days and amidst the wide participation of school students in the Emirate of Sharjah and its environs, so that students wishing to participate from schools in the public and private sectors can learn about this. The initiative and its importance in promoting optional reading for students on useful topics that aim to enhance the national sense and contribute to the development of society, and to build a personality based on tolerance and giving. on the cultures of peoples and their civilizations.
The National Archives informs the festival participants of the goals of the "Inspiring Stories" initiative, the conditions for participation, evaluation mechanisms, prizes for the winners, and ways to participate by submitting forms or via e-mail.
It is worth noting that the most prominent stories published by the "Zayed 100 Tales Initiative" and won the first prizes are: (The Story of a Knight), (The Green Hand), (Conqueror of the Desert), and (See the Future with Zayed).
