The National Library and archives is gathering a community of scholars researchers an expert for its second annual “Emirates international Conference on Oral History”. The aim of the conference is to establish global and strategic partnerships that foster collaboration and cooperation among Arab and international institutions bodies and scholars. The main objective is to provide new opportunities to connect to exchange experiences, gain knowledge about the cutting-edge best practices and publications related to Oral History. Ultimately, the objective of the second annual conference is to document preserve and publish oral history in accordance with internationally recognized standards.

Learn about the heritage and history of the UAE at the Memory of the Nation exhibition at the Sheikh Zayed Festival.

In the aftermath of the overwhelming success of the two international translation conferences held by the National Library and Archives in 2021, 2022, and 2023, the NLA is organizing its Fourth International Translation Conference under the title: (Publishing New Boundaries: Translation and Building Knowledge Societies).

The conference constitutes a multilingual scientific and academic forum, which hosts worldwide elite researchers in various fields of translation studies
