The National Archives Organizes a Blood Donation Campaign



In conjunction with the Year of Giving, the National Archives organized, at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, a blood donation campaign under the slogan " A Drop of Blood means life to those who need it" in cooperation with the Blood Bank of Khalifa Medical City. The campaign, which falls within the framework of voluntary and humanitarian work in the Year of Giving, has received a remarkable response from employees and management alike.



The National Archives urged all its staff members to donate blood, stressing that it is good for healthy individuals to donate blood to ailing patients; thus, sparing them the grueling and painful process of looking for the much needed drops of blood. In fact, the UAE people have an instinctive tendency to do good deeds. The National Archives commended the Blood Bank for its cooperation, as it gets out of its way to reach out to donors in their workplace in order to encourage them and make blood donation easier.

The NA’s blood donation campaign had a good turnout, as the NA provided all necessary facilities that encouraged donors and made the blood bank task easier.
