“Their Memory our History” is a compilation by the Oral History and Genealogy Section of the National Archives of the experiences of some of the older individuals interviewed about events and detailed aspects of life they witnessed before and after the establishment of the UAE. In narrating their recollections, those individuals shed light on unrecorded and unknown aspects of the history and living memory of the UAE regarding history, literature, language, tribal lore, lifestyles, and other themes that reflect the realities and changes of life.
