Acceptance of terms through use

•    It is the user responsibility to check periodically for any changes that may have been posted.
•    The continued use of the site pursuant to the posting of any changes will constitute the user implied acceptance of the modified terms and conditions of use.


All rights, including copyright and database right in the National Library and Archives website and its contents, are owned by or licensed to the National Library and Archives, or otherwise used by National Library and Archives as permitted by applicable law.

Intellectual Property Rights

The user shall acknowledge and agree that all content and materials available on this site are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets, or other IP rights and laws. Except as expressly authorized by National Library and Archives, the user shall agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from such materials or content.
Notwithstanding the above, the user may print or download one copy of the materials or content on this site on any single computer for the user personal, non-commercial use provided to keep intact all copyright and other IP notices. Systematic retrieval of data or other content from this site to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database or directory without written permission from National Library and Archives is prohibited.
The use of the content or materials for any purpose not expressly permitted in these terms of use is prohibited.

Limitation and Liability

Under no circumstances shall National Library and Archives be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or inability to use, this site. This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, National Library and Archives takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control or any incurred damages thereof.


If any part of these terms of use is held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and/or specific terms appearing elsewhere on this site relating to specific materials then the latter shall prevail.

Electronic payment Policy

We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currency). 


Delivery & shipping Policy

National and Library Archives Website will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE. 
Cancellation/Refund/Return Policy
Cancel request /Refunds /Return will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment; proof of damage has to be agreed within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Governing Law

The National Library and Archives has adopted the above website usage terms and conditions as per the current applicable UAE laws and legislations. Unauthorized use of this website and any purchase, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence as National Library and Archives reserves the full right to take necessary legal actions to preserve its database and information. Our use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website t is subject to the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates. UAE Courts shall be the competent National Library and Archives to settle any arising disputes.
