The National Archives of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and the We Are All Emirates Society signed a memorandum of understanding this morning, with the aim of strengthening joint national action and achieving many common goals between the two parties.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the National Archives by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Raisi, Director General of the National Archives, and on behalf of the Kulluna Al-Emarat Association, His Excellency Sheikh Musallam Salem Mohammed bin Ham Al-Amiri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, in a ceremony held in the National Archives building and attended by members of the Board of Directors of the Kulluna Association, along with the archive staff. Emirates, and a number of media representatives.

The memorandum aims to create a strategic partnership between the two parties, and work on implementing a number of joint national projects, conferences and workshops related to their common areas.

The memorandum provided for organizing and coordinating between the two parties to hold seminars and lectures, and to cooperate in the areas of awareness campaigns and human rights awareness in areas related to building a cohesive society, and to create new and various other opportunities that may arise during the implementation of the memorandum by the two parties.

The agreement also stressed the need for coordination on community, environmental and social initiatives, and cooperation in developing and implementing proposals in order to achieve the development of programs and activities in the field of archiving.

The memorandum also stipulates the formation of a working group from both parties to develop a vision, procedures and implementation mechanism. To initiate work on the memorandum through periodic meetings or whenever the need arises, and to provide the necessary support from both parties to achieve the objectives of the memorandum.

On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Raisi, Director General of the National Archives, affirmed that the National Archives will harness its capabilities to activate the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding that serve the people of the country and educate them, through programs to enhance national identity and support the values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and wise leadership in the hearts of the nation's youth.

His Excellency expressed that this memorandum is a new opportunity to do more in order to serve the country and its people, and this is the supreme goal of the archive, adding that we are certain that the experiences that the National Archives has gone through in the fields of education in its various stages, through its national programs and cultural seasons, is evidence of its confidence and ability to instill the values of National identity, enhancing loyalty and strengthening belonging among young people, which increases the personality of each of the countrymen in coherence and impulsiveness to redeem the country, and increases the solidarity of all and their commitment to higher principles and ideal values.

His Excellency Dr. Al Raisi added: Since documents and records are the backbone of institutions, and since knowledge of the past illuminates our path towards the future, the National Archives will contribute to documenting the path of ambitious volunteer work and following the path of the founding leaders whose lives and values are full of love for the homeland and watch over its construction and maintenance of its capabilities.

For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Muslim Salem bin Ham Al-Amri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the We Are All Emirates Society, said: The Society, as an institution of public interest, shares many of its goals and visions with the National Archives, the most important of which is contributing to the development of the spirit of joint work and working to spread the bonds of familiarity and cohesion among individuals. society, and contributing to the upbringing of active and conscious generations that harness their creativity and distinction in all fields to serve the country and raise its flag high in all forums.

Bin Ham stressed that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Association, emphasize the work to create strategic and meaningful partnerships with national institutions and civil societies, to contribute to the process of development and construction, and to raise a generation with a degree of responsibility, and commensurate with status. Which the UAE has reached on the global level with the efforts of its leaders and sons.

His Excellency added that institutional cohesion and joint national action among the institutions of the national society is a necessary process for exchanging experiences and contributing to building a cohesive and secure society. He said: We in the We Are All Emirates Association and through this memorandum will work to create the appropriate atmosphere and environment to achieve the objectives of the memorandum as part of the message National and community association and promote the principle of joint action.
